The Nutwells planned some rather extensive work on their home: they needed all their windows replaced, including a couple of upgrades to Loewen windows, and new vinyl windows in the rest of the house. “Our old windows were basic builder grade quality,” Richard Nutwell recalls. “You could feel the wind going right through them.”

As Nutwell explains, they also needed a little custom work: cutting two new spaces for windows in the family room to make it more like a sun room. After other companies turned down the job because of the custom elements, Nutwell saw a newspaper ad for Hodges. “I called and they said, 'sure, we can do that.'”

Nutwell was impressed by Hodges from the beginning. “When they came out and met with us, I was originally most interested in the energy-saving effect of the new windows. But after seeing a quick product demo, I was even more impressed by the UV protection. We liked Hodges’ quote and hired them.” Nutwell notes that the Hodges team did a very professional job, and cleaned up the site well.
